Coco Norén New Chairperson of the SCAS National Board

At the turn of the year, Professor Coco Norén joined the SCAS National Board as new Chairperson.
She takes over after Professor Anders Malmberg, who was Chair between 2017-20.  

As a former Pro Futura Fellow (admitted to the programme in 2001), Coco Norén is well familiar
with SCAS and its activities. She spent time in residence at the Collegium in the academic year
2007-08, and between 2013-19, she was a regular Member of the SCAS Board, representing Uppsala
University. As of 2021, Norén is Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Uppsala University. She is also Professor
of French at Uppsala University.

Also Anders Malmberg is a former SCAS Fellow. He was in residence in the spring semester of 1999
